Estimate & Quote Terms & Conditions

The below conditions detail how Velocity Plumbing and Heating Ltd. Estimates & Quotes are
priced. These conditions apply to all estimates and quotes provided and any changes,
alterations, additions or amendments made to the plans and/or specifications for which the
estimate and quotes are developed from may be cause for a change in estimate or quote price
and/or scheduled project timeframe.

1. Allowances for rough-in, trim-out and finishing are based off of a builder grade installation that meets basic installation requirements and code compliant, unless otherwise noted
2. Plumbing and HVAC are based on path of least resistance and complexity
3. Hydronic zoning is designed based on an assumed simplistic system with the least number of zones, unless otherwise specified at the time of estimate
4. Fixtures selection, if not provided at time of estimate, is priced at a builder grade quality
5. Site power is available for use or temporary power is provided by the client/GC as required

Estimates and quotes are inclusive of:

1. Reviewing of plans./specifications with client/GC to identify and issues or concerns that may not meet code requirements and or best practices
2. Preliminary fixture selection and layout
3. Pre aboveground rough-in 1-2 hr walkthrough with client/GC to confirm/determine layout of rough plumbing and HVAC
4. Weekly progress update & site condition report provided by onsite lead.
5. Scheduling trade specific inspections
6. Site services within property lines that were requested at time of estimate or quote

Estimates and quotes are not inclusive of:

1. Time for additional consultation for design aspects and layouts is not included (e.g. onsite time dedicated to determining specific locations for HVAC distribution)
2. Site services extending outside of the property lines
3. Any additional scopes of work that were not outlined in writing at the time of estimate or quote
